Take Five for Saxophone Quartet released today! 🎷🎷🎷🎷

We’re delighted to announce that this morning we released Jon’s arrangement of Take Five for saxophone quartet on the Barehand Digital label! Jon originally created this purely in video form to share on socials, but as it has been a popular video we decided it would be good to put the audio out there too.

Take Five is an absolute classic of a jazz tune, originally written by sax player Paul Desmond and released on the album “Time Out” by the Dave Brubeck Quartet back on September 21st, 1959 on the Columbia Records label.

This new version has been arranged for 2 altos, tenor and baritone saxophones and can be found on all the major streaming platforms! Here is the artwork for the track and if you’d like to listen to it on Spotify simply click on the image and it will take you straight there:
